Absolutely, however I have noticed that if you subscribe you save a lot of money.
I subscribe to Men's Health. I cannot recall the price, I apologize. But it is a deal if I compare it to the cover price.

well, its not me or anyone in California. the state has banned us from having anything over 10 rds magazine capacity. ammo on the other hand, I think Californians are somewhat responsible. I haven't been buying any lately because the price has gone way past "reasonably expensive". People in California do make more than people outside of the state, but our cost of living is generally 2x people outside of the state. but somehow people can still afford to buy like 20K$ worth of ammo at a gun show. I don't know where there people get their money from, but is just a couple buy $20,000 dollar's worth of ammo then you can probably see why Walmart's out of ammo, and everyone else can't find ammo. "old bullets"? bullets are the projectile part of the cartridge, if you have forgotten, its just a piece of metal. it doesn't do any harm at all. Old ammo I think is what you're referring to, and old ammo isn't a problem if its stored right. There's a bit of shortage of mil-surp ammo cans, so I think people are storing their stockpiled ammo right. Ammo doesn't go bad if properly stored. Old ammo can be as good as new ammo, some of my 1940's and 1950's stuff is just like new! How is that dangerous? I have huge stockpiles of ammo because I figured ammo costs will go up someday, just not this soon. Its not like I don't go to the range enough. I simply have more than I can reasonably shoot in 5 years. (most of it .22LR) and that was bought back when .22LR was $120 per case of 5500 rounds. Its keeps the cost of shooting down for me.

i subscribed to seventeen and it was like $12 for six months. Why are magazines so expensive anyway?
I think magazines should be cheap like newspapers and newspapers have more words and pictures than magazines. They're are more stuff such as info in newspapers too.

well actually they're overpriced because of the glossy covers and pages, and on the quality of the pictures and prints put into it.
i was a subscriber once from a men's magazine but i stopped because i haven't had the time to read and later became uninterested.

I used to subscribe to Outdoor Life, but after a few years I found out you can describe hunting and fishing only so many ways. Besides, I also noticed that there were more and more ads. In fact, I counted the number of pages of ads vs the number of pages of articles. I don't remember the exact figure, but it was something like 50/50.

yes I do think they are too expensive and i do not read anymore any of them except the Smithsonian which is a bit boring but cheap and sometimes teachs you something. Now I take all my informations from the Net and furthermore I have enough to be told what I must think or wear or eat or watch by those pretentious magazines journalists.

I subscribe to PEOPLE, US Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, TIME, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, TV Guide...
I've noticed that you DO save a little more by subscribing than you would just buying them from a newsstand. And it's nice to have something in your mailbox besides BILLS!
