I don't care one way or another right now. Convince me why should I or why shouldn't I support the war in Iraq, not using the support of troops as an argument.

The time to choose if we go to war is to be made in the beginning of a war NOT the middle. If we do not win the war in Iraq guess who takes it over...Iran and Syria. The Iraq report group thinks that's a wonderful idea. Why I don't know. Think about it if we ask Syria and Iran to end our so called "illegal" war they're going to want incentives for ending it without our help. I'm sure your asking what does this mean? Well the most danger comes from Iran because they're going to want to build Nuclear weapons. Once again...why should we care? Well because Iran hates us. I mean REALLY hates us. They are not a country that wants to bring peace at least not for those who believe in Democracy. The safety of your country is why you should believe in this war. I'm sure you've hard reports saying we made it worse. Of course, we have we didn't send enough troops in the first place, but now Democrats want to cut and run obviously that's not a good option and our soldiers will have died without cause.
Oh and hopefully no one thinks this is about oil...if those people were actually educated they would realize that we get less then 3% of our countries oil from Iraq. It's all about research, but don't take my side because I said so...do homework and make your own educated decission.

If you're apathetic, you'll continue to be so. Why do you care?
My feeling is that we won't have the whole story about the war until 50 years down the road so if we don't have the whole story who are we to object? Are you risking your life - which, btw, is the job that these brave men and women signed on for so they're not victoms? If the Iraqi people weren't able to overthrow a genocidal leader should the United States have stepped in? Why bother closing the prison camps that held hundreds of children when once they're out they're forced to come to the United States - in many cases - which people who have never been without or had to suffer think is worse. Should the US be pushing their governmental structure on a foreign country? Certainly not - but what do we know of what's gone on behind closed doors?
If you were living in Iraq would you have wanted someone to step in to save you?
I will never say that I'm right or wrong, I don't have that knowledge - but what we do know?

If you really don't care there is no convincing you, one way or the other.
You must first either care that our troops are being killed while not accomplishing anything positive. That Iraq is closer and closer to civil war.... or
You must care that we are the only "superpower" left and must police the world, or that "W" truly is at least as bright as a carrot, .......well a small carrot perhaps.

What satisfied me that that is the real faith is the identical factor that makes individuals believe we're delusional, wacky and a cult. I've been a witness for over 30 years and my household nonetheless thinks I'm loopy. They are catholic, and our variations in perception are like night time and day. We have the braveness to get up for righteous concepts and now not comply with the bulk nor drift of general considering. We have a cause in existence, a cause for dwelling, a wish, that almost all of individuals on the earth have now not, a few when you consider that they simple do not care. We even have an global brotherhood that doesn't see colour, nationality, nor language. In reality all of us talk one language: the natural language. After 30+ years, I'm nonetheless satisfied that that is the correct position to be. "Therefore Jesus mentioned to the twelve: “You don't wish to move additionally, do you?” Simon Peter replied him: “Lord, whom lets leave to? You have sayings of permanent existence." You shouldn't because it is an illegal (under the Constitution) war of aggression (unethical).
