There was a puppet show I remember watching when I was a wee lass in the mid-90s with a cast of animals. The ones sticking in my mind at the moment are cats (I think one was named Tango) and a dog who idolized a dog named Eugene, who as far as I could recall was never seen at all and only spoken about. Anyone know the name of the show? Google and Wikipedia have counfounded me.

I dont know I looked at quite a few puppet sites and none of them mention Tango or Eugene
I do know its not Between the Lions.

at first I thought Thundercats but then you said puppets and the only shows that came to mind were the muppet show and fraggle rock.
