Start working for an insurance company and work your way up to become a financial adviser. You may have to start as a salesman at a lowly level but it is good grounding. Building Societies are also less demanding on qualifications for some jobs but all you need is a foot in the door. Good luck and have a great Christmas.

You can be an assistant or clerk for the accounts payable and accounts receivables of a large firm. These departments always need someone to keep track of receipts, orders, checklists of what actually arrived vs what was ordered, unscheduled or emergency orders, returns, wrong products, defective products, salesmen, bill collectors, the whole gamut, the heart and purse strings of the company.

I would say become an accounting technician. You don't need a degree but as you build up your qualifications you can progress at work and even use your qualifications to count towards a degree or conversion to accountancy later on if you want.

You'll need to study to be a bookkeeper.

If you want a quick entry then there are lots of admin type jobs in accounts that are pretty easy. A lot of them are data entry. So purchase ledger clerk, sales ledger clerk etc, or possibly credit control assistant.
