whatever you do, don't pick more than 3 colors, one should be for the background, one for the normal text, and one for simple graphics!

Color combinations, Whatever color u choose the good combination in my opinion will be monochromatic. example: (dark blue, blue, light blue) , (dark green, green, light green), (Orange, yellow orange, yellow) , (red, red orange, orange)
Just follow the color wheel ;-)
