go to or call the state where the divorce took place and giving you and the other persons name will give you the case number.
Now that you have the case number you ask then I want to get a copy of this case what is the police for that..
They will tell you but it will cost money and you going there in person..

First of all, get in the habit from now on, that no matter what statements or papers you get----make copies!!! I've gone through so much hassle because I never learned to do that. Now I make copies of EVERYTHING, so I always can have proof of something and can look back on information.
