I need to know if the moon phases are the same of the one seen in the south hemisphere. In Brazil it is full moon.

If you say that there is not a full moon here tonight, so the calendar at http://areaseg.com/2006.php
is wrong:-(
It is cloudy and I can't see the moon :-(.
I trusted in the calendar on the site. I have scaned it from a real calendar, last year.

It's still Saturday Dec. 9th here in California.
full moon 5th
last quarter 12th
new moon 20th
first quarter 27th

According to the US Naval Observatory:
The Moon was full on December 5 at 0025 UT, which means is is now waning gibbous..Last Quarter will occur on Dec. 12 at 1432 UT, or 1032 EST

The phases of the moon are the same everywhere on the Earth at a given time. (And there isn't a full moon in Brazil tonight.)
