Frogs -

1. smooth, moist skin

2. no warts on body

3. narrower body and waist

4. live near or in water

5. longer hind legs for hopping, webbed hind feet for swimming

6. eggs are in a massive lump of cloudy jelly (yum)

7. turns into a prince when you kiss him. (just kidding)


TOADS

1. rough, drier skin

2. have warts on body

3. broader, flatter body

4. live on the land, but breeds in the water only.

5. shorter hind legs, walks rather than hops

6. eggs are long and stringy, wrapped around water plants

7. gives you warts all over your body if you touch them (just kidding)

Frogs require to live near water and toads do not. frogs are smooth toads have bumps. Frogs live above ground, toads do not.

frogs are closer to the water and go in and out, more wet

toads are usually land based and are drier
