What about trying a bridal shop? they can have some beautiful gowns in. They don't have to look like big satin puff balls! I've seen some really elegant dresses in our local shop.

Can you get to Bournemouth? Try Beales, Dingles or Debenhams. The department stores are really good for evening wear at this time of year - look at the Debut and J by Jasper Conran ranges at Debenhams - and some are even offering discounts because sales figures have been disappointing.

you could get a full length gown almost anywhere, m&s, mattalan even some charity shops.
it is not the dress that makes you sexy it is you that has to make the dress look that way, if you have the right attitude any attire can look sexy.

Alot of stores in a mall would have some to choose from. They may have a catalog you could order from. Try some local bridal stores in your town. Here are some sites I found with pictures of gowns. Good luck!
