Quote.... " some of yall are dumb.. but then again i guess i dont want dumb people to answer.... "
Consider a response to this quote...
"The nature of your oppression is the aesthetic of our anger.... "
Does it seem to match the quote ?

maybe it means that the way in which you find yourself oppressed is the thing that really pisses off the author of the quote.

oppression has a lot to do with how you see the world.. its about perception.

you may be sitting at home with every freedom, yet complain about how you can do nothing because you think theres nothing to do..

i suppose this might piss off a few people.. certainly pisses me off..

you could be doing great things.. but you think you are oppressed.. so you waste away your life sitting at home thinking negative thoughts..

for example:

you are free to love.. love whoever you want to.. consider yourself lucky.. but you might waste away that love because you think its imposable in this day and age to fulfill that love completely.. for whatever reason..

love is a powerful thing.. love can do miraculous things.. and the most beautiful thing is no one can touch your love, unless you let them.. unless you think you are oppressed, either by depression or lack of motivation.. or whatever.

people let stupid things get in the way of love everyday.. as a result, there are more divorces in this country every day.. people give up because they think it would be easier to start over with someone new, rather than just deal with the problems of a current relationship.. yet they find the same problems.

Society has taught us that if there are problems in a relationship, then the relationship itself is flawed. We see happy, sexy people on tv and figure if thats not us.. we have got to change it somehow. Do people even realize these days that everyone has problems? That it's ok to have problems? That to be happy one has to deal with these problems?

The media has taught us that it's ok to have hundreds of partners over a lifetime.. its normal.. if one isnt perfect, there must be the perfect one out there..

This is a new development.. in the past we were taught to stick it out.. We appreciated the security of a long lasting relationship, even if it's not glamorous and perfect all the time..

Don't get me wrong, sometimes people have to separate.. but that is an exception.. not the standard.

This pisses me off particularly, thats why I used it as an example..

And indeed, you must be warned.. because some people realize what's going on in the world today.. and they are not going to have any sympathy for you if you claim the victim to something you've conjured up in your head.. or been influenced by the media..

Oppression is a state of mind.. At least in modern times you have somewhat of a choice to be oppressed or not, at least in America.

if you give up on a relationship because you don't want to work to make it better, i don't think you deserve to dip your fingers in the pot of true love...

if you choose to be oppressed because you don't want to work to make it better, you don't deserve to dip your fingers in the pot of freedom or happiness..

BE F*CKING WARNED

We tend to be oppressed by our own devices. A crude example would be the person who burned to death in a fire because the firefighters were not able to get to her through the security bars she had put up.

She had put in the bars to protect herself, but they became her prison.

It means....stop reading fortune cookies. Actually, what I get from it is that what you think is holding you down is actually what calms someone else???? I might be an idiot though.
