There are online courses and certificate courses in certain colleges. Hospitals and clinics want only the best transcriptionists, so there is a lot of competition. Online companies send you a long application and will give you a difficult test.

Working as medical transcriptionist needs good training. You will also need to learn all the medical terms, drug names, and good listening skill. There are good opportunities and high demand for good medical transcriptionists in cities such as Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, etc. The pay is also good.
