First off you need to get your friend to tell her parents about the wrist cutting. Her life could depend on it. I am a counselor and I have dealt with young ladies like her and alot of times they are also suicidal.
I would stay out of what is going on with curtis and your friend. It's between them. I would be there for her and give her emotional support. She really needs it. You will see in the future that a lot of your friends won't get along. That's ok because they don't have to like each other. Just be a friend for each of them and and tell them that you want to stay neutral and not get involved.

Talk to Curtis, since he's been your best friend for two years. Then, talk to Paige. Tell her that she doesn't have to talk to Curtis if she doesn't want to. Also, tell her not to cut off her wrists just because Curtis broke up with her. I should know because I've been through this with my friends. Give Paige some advice about how to ignore Curtis. Try to make them talk to each other even if Paige doesn't want to. Try and plan some kind of a dinner, and go with them. Don't tell Curtis or Paige about the dinner, or they might not go. When they're both at the same table, and one of them is about to leave, say that you would appreciate it if they talked to each other. After u order, say that u have to go to the bathroom, but don't let Curtis follow u. If they don't talk to each other and instead they argue, tell Curtis to come with u to the bathroom, and give him some advice. Sorry if this doesn't work out.

what do you do? tell paige to stop being dramatic and to get over this little crush. odds are you and your friends are either in highschool or havent got there yet. so that means that love is not present and ergo she should get over her insignificant boy problems and learn that there is more to life than having a boyfriend. And add that slitting her wrists will only get the wrong type of attention.

Stay friends with both and give them equal time.
