I start him off with a barley soup (a beer) and while he's relaxing, I cook him up a t-bone steak w/sliced mushrooms, baby potatoes w/gravy and corn. After supper settles a bit, home-made apple crisp w/ whipped creme ... and if there's any whipped creme left over, we find a use for it. :D

The way to my heart might be through my stomach....

BUT I DO ALL THE COOKING....

So if you want to get in my good graces, you'd better stock up on groceries, and I don't mean any of that prepackaged garbage - I cook OLD FASHIONED sit down meals....

I'm Canadian and married a New Orleans man. We've both enjoyed cooking for each other. I get to experience what he grew up on, and vice versa. He loves my stir frys.

I cook whatever my man likes. But I have to say the meal that I cooked for him that he had never had and to this day loves the most is my fried catfish, fried shrimp, mac-n-cheese, salad, and must not forget the fries. He loves that meal so much, I make sure I make it at least 3 times a month or more.
