Ok, here goes....
For your mom:
1. Don't get her anything that she has to work with. Christmas is a time for enjoying not working. Like you wouldn't want to receive dishrags to do the dishes, would you? No, then she wouldn't either. Perfume, (cheap), bath stuff for her to take a relaxing bath. Pretty trinkets, a jewerly box, a cd, a movie, a new hat, a planner (for her busy schedule). Girls of all ages love to get bath stuff, soaps, cones, incense, candles, bubble bath, sponges, try putting together a gift basket. You can do everything that I have mentioned for $20. Remember to go by what she likes, if she like lady bugs, get her a purse with lady bugs on it.
2. Dad: Men are just a bit harder to shop for. But still possible. My number one reccomendation is a pocket watch. It is unique ($20), and not that expensive. You can pick out one according to what he likes. Example, trains, eagles, ducks, deer, wolves, they have the whole lot. Then get something special engraved on the back of it. Then you have cologne, wallets, gloves, scarves, cds, movies, pocket knives, hats, tshirts, sweaters, accesories for hunting (if he likes to hunt). Yet again go for what he likes, sports, history, and so forth. Tools are also a great idea, or things for his car, a shaving kit... Everything that I have mentioned you can get for $20.
3. Brother: Teenage guys are EASY. They love VIDEO GAMES. And the good news is that you can find them for under $20. When he plays on his ps2, watch the game types, and get one accordingly, or listen for hints, as with your mom and dad also. Cds, tshirts, cool knives, DVDs, cd wallets, car accessories, a movie package: 2 tickets, popcorn and drinks of his choice (check your local theater), cologne, Playstation accessories, maybe a memory card ($20) or Gameshark ($20), a wireless controller ($20).
Those are just a few ideas, but if you are really stuck, you can go for a gift card to their favorite store.
Good luck and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
