There are no theories--which are held as factual by the scientific community-- to supposrt the veiw that humans derive from aliens. There are only crackpot, goofballs who think humans are from aliens. There is no evidence for such a veiw because, for one thing, there would first have to be good evidence that aliens exist--and there isn't any good evidence; in fact, there is more evidence for the existence of Santa Claus then there is for the existence of aliens who are our alleged progenitors.

And as far as a theory that suggests humans derive from animals, well, this notion is a bit ambiguous, but I think this should answer your question: It's called 'Evolution" and it's been on the block for a while now, ever heard of it?

And by the way: Darwin was not an atheist. He never said he was, he never said he didn'tr believe God, and in fact, he maintain his whole life that he was a Christian.

According to Linnaeus classification of living world, human beings are among the vertebrates and we are in the group of primates where our neighbors are chimps, gorillas and orangutans. It's true! Genetic evidences show 99.6% of human and chimpanzee DNA are the same. Like the cat and the lion, we are relatives with the apes. But this DOESN'T mean that they are our ancestor. We are cousins...

For me, accepting that human beings are animals is not a hard thing because we live the same way: we eat with the mouth, we see with the eyes, we walk with the foot... etc. So where is the difference? We are the same.

Your first idea of seeking human origin in animals is quite right and is supported by the Theory of Evolution propounded by Darwin. As regards your othe idea ascribing a alien character to man is nothing but a pseudo-scientific licence. In any even assuming an alien origin to humans it only moves the question one step back for we have to solve the questioin of origin of that alien. Even postulating an another alien source to that alien who gave rise to man we would only be moving one more step back. There will be no end to regression,.Let us there go with Darwin. Thank god(?) you did not postulate divine origin for man.

The extraterrestiral theory is not real, as it is not supported by solid facts; In fact, ever since everyone has video cameras, there haven't been too many sightings...

Darwin's theory of evolution would make sense because of the scientific studies done since his time have proven more deeply and accurately with advanced technology and carbon dating. Studying the past to see what has happened will contribute hypotheses for what we as humans may or will become.

I think that one of the reasons that man has tried to separate himself from the animals is because man is an empathetic creature. There is some amount of guilt that is associated with killing something and eating it. Life feeds upon itself. The thought of ending one life just to extend another is cannibalistic. To reduce the guilt, we say we are not like them. But sometimes we have a hard time drawing a line between us and them. Genetics say we have more that just a few things in common. Maybe we have different pairs of chromosomes, but we still have the same 4 nucleotides as do all life on earth.. All life here on Earth is related to all other life. The only alien influence is what comes from our imagination. Maybe it is another attempt to distance ourselves from what we are.

Darwin was an atheist, so he had to find a way to explain various sets of changes in characteristics of animals and he developed his own theory which boils down to that humans are a genetic accident from a one-cell animal with no purpose in life. On the other hand, why aren't apes speaking today? Why haven't they evolved? If you go by Biblical accounts (with the oral footnotes)---this is our 4th world and the only one that was given a human being that could speak (and yes, evolution could and did play a part in the forming of the various previous worlds where strange animals and human-like creatures existed). But we are the only ones given free will and free speech. Of course, to be truly human via religious context of the Hebrew Bible, you have to have the Godly soul of the angels (they only do one thing at a time at the command of their boss, our Creator), so we can strive to righteousness and to be able to make that choice, we had to have also the animal soul, the basic instincts, the basic will to thrive, to mate, to hunt, to form communities, etc. but this animal soul also gives us the ability to ignore the welfare of others and selfishly commit acts that do not benefit anyone, including ourselves. In a sense, we are aliens, because we were created with a lofty Holy Spirit that needs the animal soul to do the best we can with what we have been blessed with or without in this world. You can think all you want about doing good or helping others, but it is act of doing that clinches the contract. If we all did each day a random act of kindness, imagine how closer we would be to nature and keeping it safe and prepare for the paradise (a return to Eden) in the age to come of 1,000 years. Then we all can live without hunger, smog, war, missionaries, and who has the bigger gun!

I am willing to believe that a human being is an alien, only if all life found on earth is from another world!!

yes, maybe some humans have alien ancestors. Every generation is getting more intelligent, maybe because of alien genes.
