A kilo is a kilo, they weigh the same, neither is heavier than the other.
Feathers will have more volume, but that wasn't the question!

*sigh* I am so sorry that you had to ask that! I am going to answer this seriously because there is the chance that you actually don't know the answer.
A kilo is always the same weight, whether it is a kilo of bricks, ballons, or anything else. It will always WEIGH the same amount, but it will often vary in how much space it takes up.(VOLUME). Weight and volume are two very different things!

I am going to have to say the steel. WHY? Because most everyone else is saying they would weight the same. I think that a kilo of feathers would weigh considerably less.
