Depending on what types of pets one has, good gifts are:
Birds- A nice new cage, or different ladders, mirrors, or ledges.
Cats- Any toy that can be batted around, balls, fake mice, scratch post, catnip toys, or a climbing tree.
Dogs- Any type of chew toy, tug-o-war ropes, treats, especially ones that are good for the teeth, such as raw hide.
Reptiles- A new limb for climbing, different day/night lamps or heat lamps/rocks.
Fish- A clean aquarium, or a little castle they can swim through.
Hope this helps :)

I am getting my King Charles Cavilier puppy a Louis Vuitton carrier, a Burberry sweater, a Chanel leash, and some pig ears to chew on. I am also going to send her to a puppy spa day at the local groomers complete with a pedicure and massage. And I think I was going to buy her some kind of new goose-down comforter for her bed, but I've been having trouble deciding on which one to get. Hmmm, I think she is going to have a very Merry Christmas! I sure had fun shopping for her in all the neat stores!

Not sure I can list them all here, but here's what I go so far
Cats: new water fountain to drink from (fresh running water 24/7)
Dogs: Soft toys and chews
Horse: New heavy blanket
Frogs: New cage with proper setup
Lizards: New cage with proper setup
Fish: new decor
Squirrels: New boxes/beds (squirrels will release in Spring)
Rats: Log chew toys
I have other pets but haven't gotten anything for them as of yet or don't plan to get anything specifically for christmas.
Mostly I find the discounts this time of year the best time to buy..and I just hold it for Xmas so its fun for my kid to give her pets presents!

Hopefully love and attention and plenty of good food on Christmas day rather than expensive toys. That is our aim.

My sweet boy (10 yr old terrier Dalmatian mix) is getting some really good healthy treats. I send for them on line and he loves them and a new memory foam bed. He is getting arthritis.
Here is his photo with his sweater which he hates:

Animals do not understand dates and celebrations. Just people putting human characteristics on their pets. give them an extra milk bone. They don't know the difference!

My cat already got his present. It's a fully-loaded 2006 Christmas tree. My fish get nothing because they're jerks.
