Have you checked the contrast and brightness controls? Does anything appear when you press any of the menu buttons?

Be more specific, have you tried plugging another monitor to that computer. Maybe its your video card. Or BAD ram. I would get a techie friend to help you out.
If the light is green that means that the monitor is recieving a signal from the computer.

ok. this might seem form of dumb and that i'm particular each and all the pc professionals will roll their eyes yet i had the precise comparable subject some days in the past and right here is why... for the final 2 months my pc hasn't shown ANY device information on initiate. the 1st factor i see is my very own pc. don't know why. yet some days in the past i accidently grew to become my pc off manually. in basic terms hit the change. after that each and one and all i've got been given on initiate replaced right into a sparkling exhibit screen with my video exhibit asserting "no sign". so i pulled my tower aside, seen reinstalling homestead windows, procuring new motherboards etc. then i put in an previous video card that DID bring up the device diagnostics and all that replaced into going on replaced into the pc replaced into asking me to press F1 to proceed initiate or "delete" to pass into set up. because of fact i wasn't seeing ANY exhibit screen, i did no longer know it replaced into asking this question. i pressed F1 and each thing replaced into high quality. so, my grand suggestion is this... turn on the pc, wait, then press F1. then wait, and see if it plenty. subject is, i've got had to hit F1 each and each time when you consider that.

Try a new monitor on the new computer, not the one that stays blank. If that fails too, your new computer most likely has a bad video card.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
