I thought they are made of paper and cotton, but my boyfriend thought their made of thin leather

Artists' canvas is made from woven cotton fiber, also called cotton duck. Linen is also used, made from woven flax fibers.

in canada the top quality ones are made out of baby seal skins.but they are very expensive.but they are worth every penny,.
