I'm 33 and have large pores. My light weight foundation just isn't giving me that nice complexion look anymore. Do I need to use something to shrink the size of my pores or a different type of foundation? or both?

Try this line of make-up:
http://www.monave.com/
It's the best make-up ever! I use it & my skin looks dewy & fresh, people don't think I wear make-up at all. They have powder, cream & liquid foundation. For your pores you'll have to find good exfoliating products for your skin. Pore size is genetically pre-determined & the only thing that will shrink them permanently is a laser peel. My aunt had REALLY large pores & she got a peel 3 years ago. She looked a mess for 2 weeks after, but to this day her skin looks amazing. For my large pores I use this:
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P1815&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=3528
I rub my skin with it on a cotton pad BEFORE I wash my face. I can't leave it on because it's too irritating but it keeps my pores clear & my skin smooth. It might be a little strong for your skin, but mine is really oily & this is the most economic treatment for me. 8oz lasts for 3 months & only costs $30. There's allot of products out there & if you go someplace like Sephora or a major department store the sales people there can help you find a good product. Good luck!

You may just need a new one, I'm around your age and I have been finding that products I used to like and find worked for me are just not doing the job now...

i.e. I used to use a lot of CG products and now I find them to be a bit chalky for me...I have tried Aloette Creme to Powder Foundation now...

Probably use a little darker foundation than the color of your natural skin.
