Start, Run, Restore. double click on RSTRUI. Go back to the oldest date listed on the calendar. Restore settings to there, and start over again. otherwise, buy an XP disk and use your old license number.

You need an operating system disk such as Windows XP. You also need all of the software drivers for your computer as well as the installation disks for any programs you've installed.

You can't do it. You can wipe out the hard drive, but you will need the Windows XP disk to install the operating system.

Where ever the CD is have someone there snail mail it to you.
Other wise you can't format and start over.
