I get to go to a place in the summer for my 8th grade graduation. One catch; it has to be in the Continental U.S. It will be in the summer, and it can't be too hot or humid. Where do you think I should go???

I'm not sure what you're interested in but, my kids and nephews liked to go to the Outer Banks of NC when they were your age. Your family can rent a house or camp near the beach in Avon or Nags Head. The beach is awesome. You can surf or windsail. At night there are go-karts and mini golf and small amusement parks sprinkled up and down the entire Outer Banks. Things your parents might like to see include the Hatteras Light House and some of the quaint little towns. In the town of Avon there's a cool restaurant called the The Mad Crabber (or something like that).

Depends on what your interests are.

If you're into wildlife and the outdoors, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone are awesome.

If you're into history, a Civil War tour of Gettysburg, Harpers Ferry and the Shenandoah Valley would be really cool.

If you like the ocean, the coast of Maine or Cape Cod.

If you want an adventure and/or want to get away from people, an expedition on the Appalachian Trail.

If you like trains, perhaps a train trip or series of train trips or B&O Railroad museum in Baltimore, Steamtown USA in Scranton, Altoona Railroaders Museum, Western Maryland Scenic Railroad,...

All depends on where your interests lie.

I agree with the first poster; Outer Banks is fun! Nice weather, but not oppressive.
