Why do some people equate hatred for Israel (which is a racist state) with hatred for Jews? -- It's an extremely effective way to prevent people from criticizing any and all of Israel's policies toward the Palestinians and other Arabs.
While stupid uneducated americans blindly support the israeli murder machine -- There's a very strong pro-Israel lobby in the US, and Americans rarely hear the other side.
In the future, you should tone down your questions if you want intelligent answers. I only answered because you raised a couple of interesting issues. But, don't be surprised if this question is deleted for "epithets and slurs".

never. In Israel there are a blend custom of human beings residing there. With what you're posting does not sound stable, yet the place is your source to back this up?? Did you get this from an Arab source?? i think of that's the 'radical Islamists' who're racist against the Jews. Plus, even interior the U.S. there are nevertheless racists between us. they're each the place! So end asserting that Israel is racist and carry out a little extra of your seek rather of observing components that have a crimson meat with Israel. Do your homework! who's blowing up who??

The reason why is is because many times hatred for Israel is merely a mask for anti semetism, despite the claim of not being "anti Jewish".
Would not not agree at least that this is a possibility? And if so, how does one distinguish it from merely being critical?
And if you actually believe that all "anti Israel" or anti zionist views cannot be anti semetic, then aren't you setting up real anti semites for a free ride? (i.e. you give them plausible deniability since they can clain they are merely being anti Zionist)

Theocracy sucks. I think the problem with criticizing Israel is caused because most anti-Semites use critcism of the State as a cover for their bigotry.
I understand your frustration and I agree with you to a point but you must remain calm and objective so that you can't be branded as anti-Semitic and your complaints be seen as reasonable. I wrote "to a point" because you have to realize that Israel, unlike most countries, is surrounded by countries that want them erased from the planet so their instincts of self-preservation cause them to act brutally. These guys are in a real pickle as treating non-Jews as they should be treated really does expose them to terrorism.
Let's face it, if god offers you a country, just say no. I would rather have my family safely living in a country that was not my "homeland" that to have them killed or have them turn into killers.

You call Americans stupid and uneducated, when you in fact is the stupid uneducated one. One Muslim/Arabs among many who incite hatred in the world.
It is known that hatred for Jews and for Israel is taught in every Arab country to every Arab child since birth, yet Israelis are educated to compromise, tolerate, and help.
It is the Arabs who cooperated with Hitler, planning to build a death camp in Nablus. They would tell you that hatred for Israel is synonymous with hatred for the Jewish people as a whole.
And one last point: There are 200 Muslim Arabs in 22 oil rich countries, yet they insist on taking tiny Israel with its miniscule population of 5.3 million away from its rightful owners, the Jewish people; and the Palestinians said, in 1947: "Palestine was part of the Province of Syria" and that, "politically, the Arabs of Palestine were not independent in the sense of forming a separate political entity." A few years later, Ahmed Shuqeiri, later the chairman of the PLO, told the United Nations Security Council, "It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but southern Syria." DIRECT QUOTE.

Israel exists to provide a safe haven for any Jew anywhere in the world to come and be safe from a thousand years of anti-semitism.
If you oppose what Israel has to do to maintain that promise you are condoning the murder of Jews.
That makes you an anti-semite.

Ahhhhhhh!! Another refreshingly thoughtful question. They are rare here. I agree. Let's leave the word hate out of it because it doesn't fit. It is the trigger word non-thinkers use to slam anyone who does not hold their own narrow views.
Let's go a step further. I love my country & generally the fellow Americans I meet. I don't hate people who are subverting our government in similar foolish ventures. I damn sure will confront their actions when I think they are doing wrong. To be loyal to my country means I oppose actions I believe harm it. I may be wrong in my thinking, but not hateful. Nevertheless I am leaving myself open to being called an America hater & a traitor. These are the actions of people who don't know what they believe & do nothing to support their beliefs but attack.

The reason: Because the run-of-the-mill American doesn't know the difference between a person who is "Jewish" by "race" (mother was a Jew), religion (which CAN be a choice), and Zionism (the "nuts", as far as I'm concerned), and they don't care to learn because it would make them think about their prejudices. They'd rather just have them (prejudices, that is) than to THINK about them!
Another quick thought while I'm at it: compare out "donations" to Israel (from our tax dollars), and our spending on "welfare". Now tell me what is unfair to the taxpayer.

Some people want you to feel guilty about complaining about Israel's racist policies. Tell them that the Israelis now hate their government's racist policies and since Israelis are mostly Jews, you can't possibly be racist.
Stop the Neoconservatives from sending US hard earned tax money to Israel. They have been getting a free ride for way too long.

In regard to Dakota's answer: You do know that the Palestinians were there first, right? Their homeland? I'm sorry, you're just dead wrong. Palestinians were forcibly removed from their homes so that all those Jewish refugees from WWII could live there. Whole families reduced to refugee status, having all they had taken from them. Think about it.
And Israel is terrible.
I recommend watching the film "Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land." You can see it on Google Video. It's a real eye-opener.
