Have you ever gone mining for nose goblins in public...?

and someone glances over at you so you pretend you're just scratching your nose and you say something like "man, bug crawled up my nose, must be bug season" and then you wait until they look away long enough for it to be safe to flick your prize or wipe it somewhere?

And then you gotta do it again 'cause you didn't get it all?!
