I was a fishkiller once too. :( Do you have a tank with filter and all that? or a bowl. If you have a fishbowl, you're not going to have much luck unless you put only one small fish in it like a betta (NOT goldfish) and change the water a couple of times a week. But it's so much easier with a real tank. I hope you can get one!

What you need to do is learn about cycling your tank. Your fish are dying from ammonia poisoning because the water in their tank isn't ready to sustain fishy life yet. I'm putting a link to a really good article about fishless cycling in the source box below.

If that's a lot for you and you're willing to save money instead, there are lots of products that claim to cycle instantly. None of them work!! Except for Bio-Spira. I was able to find it locally and pay about $15 for 35 gallons worth. When you add it, you have to add your fish at the same time.

Maybe when your parents see you've done so much research, they'll give you another chance. If not, save up your allowance or do extra chores. Fish are so much fun; they're worth it. Good luck to you!

i as a person who cares about animals, i do not think you need to get another fish after 10 have died. give it up for a while, for the sake of the fish!!

you have to do research on how to take care of fish...
Think of a fish you'd like to have... do your research and show your parents what it takes to keep it alive... Your parent might buy them for you.

and if these fish die after a year.... You're banned for life.

Maybe you should select another hobby and give the fish and your parents a break
