Hey guys I would like some help. I have been riding competitevely with this stable for a very long time. I greatly appreciate my riding instructors. They are both in their 40's , one is 50ish, but that doesnt really matter. I would like to know if you can think of anything that would be a great xmas gift for them. Horse related? Maybe something to help the barn? (Its a public stable) IDEAS PLEASE :)

O ya also one of my instructors has this gorgeous palomino that she shares with me, any ideas for her? I know that she looks very cut in pink and that my instructor likes that color on her, I think she looks very cute in light blue though... also please include good places to get these items. I know about online places like statelinetack.com though

Get them a personalized ornament with horses, most tack sops would carry that sort of thing this time of year, or what about personalized horsey stationary.
A nice barn sign would be good like this one painted on slate

There are also books like "chicken soup for the horse lovers soul" & write something personal on te inside page to your instructors.
Good Luck

I am unsure where you are located, but my own sibling owns a ranch -- and breeds horses there -- so I would suggest going to the Rural King -- there are many different pastel-color items specificially for the horse lover and rancher there -- including Lead Ropes, Halters, anything having to help with the grooming of the horse is appreciated (all of these things have to be regularly cleaned and replaced) -- so check there.

anything that simplifies cleaning tack is appreciated, if they are practical minded people. new grooming tools are usually good...especially hoof picks...they seem to disappear...i like the kind that folds up and you can carry it around in your pocket. do they have their own favorite horses? any horse nut can tell you a present for the horse is a present for them...how about a Christmas stocking with 'horsetreats', new grooming tools, a new good lead rope...if you have known them for awhile, you probably noticed the kind they prefer, and i always LOVE to get a new soft cotton one. if they are readers, a really good horse related book, or even if they are not, a comprehensive book on common illnesses and injuries, and treatments is usually appreciated...but really inspect it, nothing worse than getting a new book that was written by someone who knows nothing about horses, haha!

What about making a monetary donation, in their name, to the Organization that helps Handicapped children learn to ride? This would benefit a child which am sure they would appreciate and maybe others would join in your effort.
