She is, but think about it. If she's bigger it puts more pressure on her to be original with her acting. And she'll know who really respects her as an actress and who respects her for, well.... I had one friend who used to be Navy Seal was huge and popular as you'd expect but he was so proud he started partying and drinking so much he got fat. But, while he didn't get as much physical attention afterward, the guy learned how to be a social chameleon, and now he has many more long-term fans and friends then he had back in his 'seal days.
Britney, Justin Timberlake, etc. started on the Mickey Mouse Club (well known fact, I know) but for a large part they got popularity boosted based on gossip and sex, in part regardless of acting and/or music skills.
Then you get women like Rosie O Donnell (sp.?), Oprah, and Queen Latifah who have a tremendous presence no matter what weight they are. They don't need gimmicks to boost their image they're just that good. And for every anorexic girl starving herself to think "I have a chance of looking like a powerful woman", they save another one. Erm...."Real Women Have Curves"...good movie.
Truth in point, Raven's "real job" is as an actress and as long as she's fitting the bill in that skill her weight is none of anyone's business. If she goes like Britney and depends on an adult image for success it's another story but, if you're really a true fan of hers, why should it matter she's not taking that path?

What is wrong with you? Are you really that pathetic that you have to make fun of others to make yourself feel good. To me that just says you are extremely insecure and I suggest you do something about it. Go talk to someone. I happen to think that Raven Symone is very beautiful and that she is really not that overweight. How would you feel if someone said that about you? I don't think you would like it and even if you said you wouldn't care I know that's a lie because you are insecure. If you weren't you wouldn't be making fun of people you don't even know on yahoo. Just something to think about.

omg i know shes really fat and i dont really like her but why does it really matter? haven't you ever seen a person on the street thats fat? i think its good that not everyone is super skinny, thats fake and scary if you wanna make fun of her you should say how bad of an actress she is not what she looks like i think her weight if fine

she is a little on the heavy side, but i think she is so pretty. I really Like her show. if you dont like the way she looks then way are you looking at her. We are not to judge people. Maybe you should look at yourself before you said anything about her.

i totally agree because it the cheetah girls 2 movie all the other girls were like mad skinny and raven was mad big no offense to raven though i think she needs to go on a diet for a while and loose 80 pounds.

She once said that she is comfortable with her size. She's still young so she can lose that baby weight. She's really cute though.

I said that the other day, lol. She is probably struggling with her weight. I think if she cuts the Disney stuff and becomes involved in more adult projects that the industry would force her to diet and lose weight.
