Malware! (eg: Virus and worms) If you don't think that malware is an innovation, ask the bad guys who make $1000s/day off it.

I heard that street gangs in Los Angeles are recruiting computer nerds from college campus' to help them write software to dupe people on a mass scale. That's pretty innovative if you ask me!
