a distributor distributes electricity to the cylinder from the wire to ignite the gas

Unfortunately you have stumbled onto one of Honda's weak points; its distributor and ignition system cannot tolerate "OPEN" secondary circuits. It will nearly ALWAYS damage the trigger.
The purpose of the distributor is to direct the secondary current to the proper spark plug. Some distributors stop there, but most also trigger the buildup of primary voltage in the coil to secondary voltages. This occurs in a peculiar way for Honda and Acura.
It is now time to begin troubleshooting of your ignition system, starting with the primary and control circuits and following out to the secondary circuit and plugs and wires.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas

A distributor distributes power to each spark plug. As far as it running sluggish and not having any power you may want to check the fuel filter. the roughness in the motor may be the timing which is supported by the car dieing when you pulled the spark plug wire.

i own a repair shop, and from the sound of what you have said about it,,it sounds like it might need a new set of plugs in it,,when you pulled the one wire out that shouldn't have killed the engine,,it should have missed some ,but not have died on it,,id try replacing the plugs first,,i think it has gotten them wet with gas,and this will short them out,,and if that don't get it started ,id see how good of fire its getting to the plugs, the distributors job is to deliver the fire to the plugs wen they need it,it also time when, and how much fire they get ,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

You need to take ( or tow ) the car to a trusted mechanic. You probably need a major tune up ( cap, rotor, wires, plugs ). On these new cars you do not want to pull the wires while it is running unless you have proper tools. If it has HEI you might end up on the ground. The distributor sends current to each sparkplug to fire.
