does the baby in the original sims 1 ever grow up? how long does it take? =]

The oldest the baby in Sims1 gets is to be a child. HOWEVER, in Sims2, the child goes through the whole life cycle. ^_^

I seem to recall the baby took three days to become a child, but the child was a child forever, and didn't grow up into an adult without using some 3rd party hacks.

yeah like 3 days to become baby-toddler, then 10 days toddler - adolescent, then another 14 days adolescent-adult. These are just approximative but close. That's Sim days, not human days!

it stays a child but the other sims it grows up through its full life.

Haha! First put in the cheat "move_objects on" (i imagine it really is it.) Then, at the same time as the social amenities come, pause the game and delete her, lol. it really is what I do at the same time as she comes.
