My mom is constantly abusing me. What can I do????

My dad is gone, I don't know if he is dead or alive, or if he is just gone away from us, but he isn't here and I've never even seen him. I'm only 12 and I know I shouldn't be on here, but I really need help. I just started at a new school and have no friends whatsoever. I also don't have any relatives. I don't know what to do and I'm way too scared to call the cops! I never really have food and the only time I ever really get to eat is at school. My mom gives me money for lunch there so she looks like a saint and I'm wooried that no one will believe me!! Also, the only time I get other food is when I have to steal money from her and I buy something to eat at the store. I'm Hypoglucemic and It's very bad for me to be hungry and/or have a low blood sugar...It gets worse everyday and I can't live like this anymore. At school i'm getting picked on and my life is WAY out of hand, what 2 do??

My mom is a nurse and knows how to hurt me so that no one knows it. She knows how to hurt me so that there are no marks. That would make a differece if she hurst me physically, which she does do sometimes.

My mom makes 40-60 dollars an hour where she works as an RN. We have more than enough money for food.

I hope this is not a joke, because I had a similar situation when I was your age. My mom wouldn't let us eat and we could not talk to our Dad. She was very sick and mentally ill. And you're right- even if you call the cops, they won't do anything. They left me at my mom's one night even after my stepdad threatened to hurt me. I would talk to your counselor at school immediately. Tell her what's going on and how you're concerned, because you don't want your mom to get mad at you for telling someone. (I was afraid my mom would hurt me if she knew I told someone.) Tell the counselor that you need help. She will take it from there. She might find some way of telling your mom without you getting in trouble. Like telling her that you fainted or something due to lack of food, so not your fault, right? Alternatively, she may call social services, and they will take care of you for awhile until your mom is better. But take everything you really want with you to school in your backpack (as much as you can fit), because you might get taken to social services and your mom will get rid of your stuff. that's what happened to me. You need to do something though, or else the situation will get worse and she may hurt you. People who don't let their kids eat for whatever reason, need a wake-up call. Again, she just may need a little talk from social services or your counselor to wake her up and try to do something to put a little more food on the table. I feel sorry for you, because I know you love your mother. She seems very proud and not willing to ask for help and both you and her need help right now. go to the counselor and let her know.

Now this is what you need to do tell a teacher at school whats going on at school cause no kid should be abused.Also if a teacher or counselor does not believe you when your moms not at home call the cops.Or when you still money from your mom to go to the store ask to use the phone and if that does not work the only other chose you have is to run away and go to a police station and ask for foster parents.

Call child protective services and tell them you are hungry all the time. Is your mom afraid you'll get fat? Does she treat you like an animal. I mean, I feed my dogs the recommended 1 meal a day. But, even kids in Juvenile detention centers get 3 square meals and a bedtime snack. IF you call the child protective services and tell them you don't want to go home, they will take you into their custody. If you want to stay in your home, they will get your mom help. Does she just not have the money for more food? You don't really tell the whole story, just pieces. See your counselor. This is very important. Your body needs more food.

Do you know your father's name try to find him one line just like you are trying to find help your mom has to have have his name some where in the house you are an only child right if so then do like the one person said plan the time that you are going to talk to a consular at school they have to report and abuse that a child reports to them to social services to check out trust me my 12 yrs old said something that was not true but they come anyways so make sure you take all the things that you want and put them into a back pack or bags so that when they come out to check and make sure it is true that you can take them with you ok good luck and report her

You sound smart enough, almost to smart. Go to a teacher and let them know what is going on. There are ways to get placed in foster care. If home life is that bad for you don't be afraid to call the cops. Just do what you have to in order to get out.

I would talk to a school social worked asap cuz you are seriouly being neglected and you need to get help fast....as much as you love your mom she is hurting you more ways then one by taking her problems out on you by limiting your food. So the next time you go to school ask your teacher if you could speak with the school social worker and he or she will help you I promise!!!

3.5?! My GPA is 2.1.... I know what you mean, my mum does it all the time, like yesterday she's like "You know you can't handle going to a charter school so just give up already. Just tell me and I'll send you to public highschool asap." I was cursing at her in my head, and I felt like telling her to shut the fluck up, but I didnt. Anyways, you shouldn't let it get to you, you're a smart person and speech helps way more in the future than violin. Just let it slide, you're the one who should decide wether your grades are good or not, I mean you're the one working hard for'em. Just let her fuzz about it, after all she'll never stop comparing you to others even if you get a higher GPA.Oh and believe me, you WILL get into a good college, and will not work at mcdonalds ( unless it's part time).

I don't care how much money a person makes - if they are abusing their own kid then the authorities need to be notified.
Do not be scared to call the cops - you do need help and now. You need to do this now before something really bad happens to you; either with your mother hurting you or your medical issues.
