I have a very large nightstand with 2 drawers. The top one has condoms, lube, oil and 2 vibrators. The top drawer is a very sterile environment because of my sex stuff. I don't put junky junk in there. The 2nd drawer has body lotion, breath-right strips for allergy season, flashlight (in case I drop the vibe), a knife, expandable night stick, some silver bullets, lip gloss, my puppies first collar, and a sudoku book.

Well I have weird stuff if mine, like cocoa butter lotion, deodorant, nail file, nail polish, Q-tips, Band-Aids, and my husbands beard trimmer- top drawer. Heating pad in the bottom drawer. On top I have a phone, alarm clock, tissues, and a candle. Some suggestions for you would also include a good book, lip balm, Listerine breath strips or your favorite mints, lotions, oils, personal items of choice, pen, writing pad...etc. Don't worry, after a time stuff will just accumulate in them and you will wonder how all that crap got in there! lol

Since I have two night stands there are a lot of things, but as you wish here are the contents. on the right hand side there are books, magazines, paper, pens, pencils, 3 crayons, metal box holds pencil sharpener, eraser, razor blade, Kleenex, extra set of keys, paper clips, stapler and about 5 or 6 book marks. The left side has some letters, nail polish, remover, foot cream, pumice stone,back scratcher, nail and heel filer. There is also a grater, hammer, hand gun, bullets, knife, potato peeler and oh yeah and a (garlic press) ; )

a little bit of everything pens, pencils, mail,medications, flashlight,nail polish, lipstick, books, old comic books, pictures, matches, candles, remotes, my husbands inhaler we keep one in each nightstand,if it's left open my cat is in there, I have 3 drawers so anything that I want easy access to is in there

No drawer. No nightstand. I use the head of the bed. and it's mostly creams and cosmetics!

I have a large oak desk instead. Inside it's got electronics parts and pieces, soldering gear, various tools, several camp stoves I've built, sewing stuff (machine on top), knife blanks, glues, scales, some half finished leather work, my glasses, and the books I'm reading.

Well lets see....first of all various reading material, some writing material for when I have a brain storm in the middle of the night, and of course about a half dozen various firearms, and another half dozen various knives.
