I have a Dell Latitude D510 laptop with Windows XP loaded. Whenever I do an internet search from the menu on the toolbar, the site I visit gets recorded. How do I delete it from the drop down list of the sites that I have visited?

Friends, I am talking abt the drop down list of sites visited. This is the line just below the icons. The word on the extreme left says "Address". After that comes the search place where u type the site u want to visit. All that I am typing here is getting perpetually stored. That is not getting deleted.

Open Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS, and then down to Internet options. Click on "CLEAR HISTORY".
If your concern is about the list in the pull down list on the sercah engine window, just go to the item, highlight it and hit delete. If you want to stop it from recording what you have search for, Open Internet Explorer, go to TOOLS, and then down to Internet options. Click on content tab, then Autocomplete and turn off the autocomplete options that you don't want.

One point that may be a good start would be what toolbar are we talking about. For example if it it the Yahoo toolbar, simply click the pencil icon next to the Yahoo logo. then click "Clear Search History."
If that fails, Internet Explorer:
Click Tools > Internet Options > Clear History.
That will clear ALL history in Internet Explorer as well as the history in the Start>Run box.

01. Right click the "Internet Explorer" icon on your desktop screen.
02. A window will appear. On that select the "Clear History" button.
By doing so you can remove the list of URLs from the drop-down.

Because the adapter for a laptop has to do three important things which all require larger components: 1. It has to turn the AC power from your wall into DC power. 2. It has to step down the voltage from 110v to only 12v. 3. It has to stabilize the power so that it doesn't fluctuate up and down and ruin components. Because your laptop needs more electricity than other electronics like your cell phone it requires a bigger adapter.
