Violence is everywhere, all the informative mediums are full of violence. For example, the internet today is away from any true censorship, and kids can enter any site easily. Also, we can't deny today the growing manufacturing of vedio games which are a very dangerous threat for kids. The reason for such media is: the crowds or people need such thing. While in fact, people can't choose, they are forced to deal with the violence, even if there's a remote control.
The role of media today is to cover all the aspects of truth and transmit it to the public opinion. In fact, it's up to media to build awareness in society in all fields, politically, socailly, economically..... It's up to media to made brains not to destruct brains.
ALL the best for you.
