Absolutely!!! Yea for him! Not many men would be so awesome that they would give a shower for their wife (no offense to the men out there)! The closest I ever got is taking a shower with mine and then he hogs all the water!
Anyways, who wants a boring old shower with just the women - all the stupid silly games that nobody wants to play besides your younger cousins and nieces.
I think this co-ed shower is a wonderful idea and honey eat up all the attention this man is trying to give you now, cuz when this baby comes both of your attention will go to this little one!

If you have that much faith in him then I guess it would. Normally though, a baby shower is thrown by a female such as your mother, or maybe his, or a sister, or maybe even a friend. I wouldn't let a man throw my baby shower, I don't think he would be able to do it very well. I didnt even have males at my shower. But, you can do whatever you think is best.. if you think he can handle it then let him go for it.

sure. Things are getting less and less traditional that i think pretty much anything goes. Plus it is getting to be the new thing having co-ed showers. However it may not be showing "proper" etiquet because it is his baby too so all the gifts are to him as well and that may seem funny to some people to throw yourself a shower...just a thought, but who really cares. Well, yeah, but you might get a set of Sears tools as well as a coupon for a free oil change.... Perhaps a sexy maternity teddy...
Okay, all guy jokes aside, it would be better if your friends and relatives threw it, because the though is that no young family can afford everything they need. If your hubby throws it then I'm not sure you'll get the family / friend support.

More commonly the mothers of the couple or other friends & family do, however more & more couples are throwing their own showers. So I do not see a problem with it, every woman deserves a baby shower!

Sure, why not. A friend of mine had a boy/girl shower/BBQ and it was a lot of fun. But those kind of things are are done all the time. you might regret not having the traditional "girls only" party. You only get so many chances to have those kinds of parties!
