My favorite Christmas movie would have to be,"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" because it is based on one of the best-known children's books by Dr Seuss and includes actual text from the book in the film. The movie is a classic because not only does it include rhyme verses from the original story, but it delivers the strongest message about the holiday season. The message that the "spirit" of Christmas is not based upon gifts, decorations, and food, but rather the feeling of love and joy we share with one another during this holiday season.
The movie not only includes the "Grinch" himself, but also the cute innocent Max dog, Cindy Loo-Whoo, and "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" sung by voice actor Thurl Ravenscroft. One of my favorite scenes is when the Grinch is headed down to Whoville on the sled with Max as his "reindeer" and cute Max ends up riding on the back and waves his little paw for a moment! Hee-Hee!! What a classic movie with humor tied into it!

I believe it was called "It nearly wasn't christmas" or something like that. it involved a family and there company drilling for oil near the north pole and the elves and santa were trying to stop it before it destroyed the north pole.
