OK now I'm just confused as whether she helped with the kidney buisness and was a prostitute or what?
And how did they get involved with the doctors?

James is in the business of stealing kidneys. She sent Michelle to Medical School so she could learn to take the kidneys. Michelle went for 2 years and decided that she didn't want to do it anymore. So she was in debt to James for 2 years of medical school that was paid for. That is why James came around and wanted her money. Michelle had to do whatever to get close enough to a victim to get the kidney.

Yes, James was Michelle's 'madam'. James was the mastermind behind the kidney removal scam, which Michelle was a part of. James shot herself in the last episode. I can't wait for the season finale of "Ni[/Tuck" on Tuesday night!
