First of all, you should have included your age, since that can help a lot in determining whether or not you are in fact going through menopause.
Other factors that can affect how quickly menopause can occur are how many children you've had, miscarriages, whether or not you smoke.
How do I know this? Because I've had 5 children, 3 miscarriages, and I smoke, and because of this, my doctor nicely let me know I've hit the stage called perimenopause .. which roughly translates as the beginning stages. It can last for several years. I'm 29, by the way.
Menopause itself normally doesn't occur until late 30's, often later.
Symptoms that I first experienced were hot flashes, and no, not sweating .. I mean hot flashes. You suddenly feel like your arms, chest and neck area are on fire, from the inside. No amount of air conditioning or cooling down will help, since it's from the inside out. When they hit I become uber witch, the mood drastically changes to one that's deadly to anyone in the viscinity. My husband jokingly tells the kids "put your hands up and back away .. if she tries to get up, run!"
Trouble sleeping is also common, either falling asleep, or waking often and not being able to get back to sleep. I'm one of the ones who can't fall asleep, and if I ever do, I can't STAY asleep.
The best recourse for you is to visit your doctor and tell him your symptoms. If your symtoms are severe enough, there are medication that can help ... but only if necessary!! If you can manage without them, you definately should.

whilst my mom replaced into dealing with menopause, she replaced into lots like what your describing. She wasn't consistently indignant. It replaced into worse: she replaced into unpredictable. I for sure can no longer tell even in the experience that your mom is going via menopause with reality. Menopause oftentimes happens between a protracted time 40 5 and fifty 5. She might additionally be under pressure. rigidity makes human beings act irrationally. If I have been you, i might talk on your dad approximately making plans a trip for her. i don't know in the experience that your loved ones can cope with to pay for it, yet hiring a cleansing provider might make her experience like she has much less to do.

That sounds like menopausal symptoms, but no two women will necessarily have the same. There are other medical problems that have these same symptoms. If you are sweating at night and suddenly feel like the bed is on fire, that's a pretty good symptom of menopause. It is recommended that you see a gyn. Dr. soon to answer all your questions.

Well we don't know how old you are or if you're having other symptoms or not. If you're periods have become irregular or in any way different, if you're over 50, no hysterectomy, you could be pre- or perimenopausal. Everyone has different symptoms, some have none at all. Try taking black cohosh or something like Estroven that has soy derived estrogen. If it helps, great. If not, you're only out a little money.
