when someone texts me...it's sometimes really loud!! but the volume with either be on low or medium low...why is it really loud?? does that happen to anyone else?

I have that phone.....the volume wont work.
ok i have my phone now....LISTEN TO MY DIRECTIONS PLEASE
1- hit "Ok"
2- go to "settings and tools"
3- go down to and click on "sounds"
4- click into "alert sounds"
5-go to "TXT"
6- choose a new sound, or put it on vibrate

set your ringtone volume/alert volume, not just the master volume. also, mine just is loud in general sometimes.
