Enjoy it while it lasts

A baby's potty habits swing wildly and all would be considered "normal". I remember my daughter had a month or so where she was pooping 5 + times a day and fine.

He's fine concerned new mommy. Congrats!

Well he is on breast milk which made my son, not have but 1 dirty diaper a day. The formula may constipate him. He's having bowel movements daily so why are you worried?

Its totally normal. 1 a day is good. Remember he is absorbing the nutrients from the breast milk so not much will be expelled.

Good luck!

Well it is on the low end of average which is 2-5 a day, but yes it is normal. He seems to be eating well and he is not fussy, so I would say that is fine. If you think he might be gassy or needing to go, move his feet and legs in bicycle riding fashion and it will help him pass it. Just mention your concerns to the pediatrician the next time you go, and you could always call him/her during the day.

As long as he doesn't seem to be struggling to go poop--like he's constipated. (if he is constipated a small amount of dark kyro syrup in one of his bottles will pry cure it) my son was about the same 2-3 times a day in the beginning, my daughter EVERY diaper. You do not need to worry unless he doesn't go for three days.

Yes it is normal. Don't worry about your baby. It sounds like this is your first baby. The more he begins to eat, the more poopie diapers he will have. Just give him a little more time, you will have more poopie diapers than you will want. Good luck

My breastfed baby pooped with almost every feed until 3 months, then started going 3 or 4 days between.

As long as the poop is soft then there is no problem.

perfectly normal...some babies poop 10 times a day, others poop once a week...and theres all kinds of variations in between. just keep an eye out for him straining, a good indication of constipation...and I'm sure everything will be fine.

as long as when he does poop it is soft and not constipated kind of poop he is fine. some babies just quit pooping a lot sooner than others. mine quit having a lot around 6 weeks.
