Hi,use windows(the little flag button at the bottom of your keyboard)+M to minimize all open windows but if you just want to hide what you are working on at the moment (like when the boss walks in) try Windows+D which will bring up your desktop over your open windows. Go to http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-10165_7-5725875_1.html for a list of windows xp shortcuts. You might also just try to google windows xp shortcuts and see what may come up. hope this helps. PS. c/net is where the father that was found in Oregon worked as a tech. advisor. They have alot of useful info. rascal.

I think you want 2 things done. Your q. appears to ask that.

How to minimize all the windows open in XP -> Windows key+M
How to minimize all the windows in IE 7 -> Drop down on right arrow at the top right end of the explorer. Minimize all.

If you want to minimize one window, look at the bottom (next to Start button) Right Click on the tab you want to minimize.

Hope this helps.

Control Tab does it in Firefox. I'm sure MS would copy it, since they copy everything else from other people.
