What is Dell's weakness and strength?

Don't mind the other complaints.
Dell is a good company. Their weekness is the reliability of their products. The computers and parts are inferior because they are mass-produced cheaply.
But to make up for it is is their excellent customer service. And no it is not always in India as others say. I am an American and I have no such problems with Indian accent. Also, it's customer services are located in China and America too.
Dell is a pretty good option if your business is looking for cost efficienncy and good customer services.

alot of companies outsource technical support to foreign countrys, its not horrible unless your an impatient person, although I'd rather have someone whos first language is English. People have said Dell uses cheap parts. But their strengths would be pricing, such as online coupons. For a pre-built desktop Dell isnt a bad choice, one of the top choices in fact. Many people who build their own computers dont like them though, they are called elitist nerds who expect everyone to know how to build a computer from scratch.
The point is, if you see a Dell at a competitive price, just go for it, do your research too.

The biggest strength is their marketing deptartment.
Their biggest weakness is that they sent their customer (dis)service to India so if you have a problem, it's really hard to find anyone who speaks English well enough to help you with it.

My uncle owns a computer fixing compony and he says dell have the worst service and that if you want your computer fixed for any reason you have to send it back to the factory from where it was made as they dont sell parts out to any other computering componys

WEAKNESS? JUST BOUGHT A DELL LAPTOP AND I DID NOT LEARN UNTIL ARRIVAL THAT THE MICROSOFT WORKS WAS A 90 TRIAL. THEY WANT $50 MORE DOLLARS. NOT A CHANCE.

Their strength is they prey on people with little money, their weakness is their product, it is what you pay for, cheap!

hope i don't offend anyone here. if you call them with a problem you almost always get someone who either doesn't know anything and has to go ask, or you get someone who doesn't speak english well.
