Your daughter was diagnosed with PARVO?
Canine parvovirus COULD be bad for a pregnant person. But I would be more concerned with HOW your daughter got this. It is not contagious to humans unless she comes in contact with and possibly ingests an infected dog's vomit or diarrhea. Please watch her more closely.
And take your dog to the vet immediately, because if he/she is infected, it could DIE without treatment. If this is another person's dog, tell them to, and don't allow your child in that house anymore. There is dog vomit or diarrhea somewhere that was not cleaned up.
Hopefully you misunderstood what your doctor said.

So what you are telling us is that your daughter is a real B I T C H?
But yes Parvo in a dog can be harmful to a pregnant woman if she is around the dog's feces or anywhere the dog deficates. But that wouldn't mean that your daughter was diagnosed with it...unless again your daughter is a B I T C H.

I have only heard of dogs getting Parvo. Are you sure that is what she has? I would say trust your doctor. If for some reason that you don't then you should get a new doctor.
