if they are raw off the shell just tip your head back and let it slide down your throat if they are cooked with a fork and if you like in a dipping sauce.

The way I eat oysters is, take a nice size spoon.. Then Work the Oyster from the shell, when it comes off and is in the spoon, Then you can eat it once it's in the spoon..
Then dip it into some Chinese Hot Mustard... MummmY

depends. If you are eating them smoked or served with/in something they you would use a fork just like eating anything else. if you have them on the half shell then you pick up the shell and suck/slurp the oyster out of the shell using your hands.

Many people eat them raw but I prefer Oyster Rockefeller.

I like the deep-fried oysters and I just use a fork, dip them in cocktail sauce,mmmmmmm

Just pick it up and eat it, that's what I do. I guess if you're with company, using a fork would be best. If you're eating it off the shell, make sure you eat that small muscle part attached to the shell. It's hardcore to get off, but oh-so-good.

Oysters rockfeller are great. Shooters are very hard to get one you like.

dip the oyster in melted butter,place on saltine,top w/ a touch of tobassco(not much) and shove the whole thing in your mouth....i like mine steamed slightly so they are not so.........slimy.....

A little tabasco, slide into your mouth and push to the roof of your mouth with your tongue then swallow!! Mmmmm! lovely
