I went to court to file for divorce, my husband was served and I got the papers back from the sheriffs department that i'm supposed to bring back to court, I haen't taken thm back because my husband promised me he would stop drinking (99% of the reason I was filing) he stoped for a few days then started up again. Can I still take the paper back to court or would I have to start from the begining again?

you could still use the same documents. consider A.A for him, couselling for both. you must have thought he was worth taking back, you must still love him. his problem is an addiction both physical and emotional, which will be impossible for him to break on a promise or alone, unless a miracle takes place...good luck!

Ask the court if the former document is still valid. If not, re-file the case and do not withdraw it again until your husband stops his habitual alcoholism.

This depends on how long it's been since you filed the divorce. if over 30 days, I think you have to start over again.

Until he admits there is a problem and seeks help take that paper back and get the process going.

Yes I don't see why not. If they say no just file for a new one.
