im from the states but have recently started to listen to british rock. i really like it and so far ive downloaded bands like...
dirty pretty things, the hives, the vines, the clash, bloc party, spiderbait,arctic monkeys, and snow patrol.
any other suggestions. i like almost anything ... cept country and folk.

If you like those bands you could probably get into punk.
In the mean time, try The Libertines. "Up The Bracket" is one of the best records of the last ten years. Mick Jones (The Clash) was their producer.
Also, try The White Stripes.
