the people who strive to find themselves, & where they fit in, in this chaotic world. the idea that something in their daily habbits is unjust, & in need of changing?
i'm only 20 years old, & yet i myself am one of these kind of people. yet i'm not quite sure why such thoughts consume my mind.

nice little design "who cares", but trust me, it's more than just insecurity.

You are probably Gnostic. It just means your soul is an older one and you KNOW you have a purpose. You are still quite young so feeling a sense of urgencey is normal. I went through this myself. Just know that in the end there is no final judgement and that you WILL find your path. If you constantly second guess yourself you will be left with feelings of uncertainty and that will manifest in other areas of your life affecting your overall quality of life. Just be confident that you are on the right path, these feelings PROOVE that you are and that you will fufill your purpose someday. Younger people that think the KNOW what they are going to be and how they want their lives to go often end up with dissapointment, so just be confident, logical, and keep working at your passions, whatever they may be. Someday the realization will hit you that you have "Found yourself". Good luck.

You're no different than many other humans your age. You are moving through another stage in life that we call maturing. Fortunately, you have a conscience that reminds you there may be things that need changing or habits that need to be broken. Imagine if your attitude was opposite. I'm not one to believe that you were put here by mistake and without purpose. I do believe that in the end, you will find that at the close of the day, if the world has been made better by something you've said or done, then your search will be over. you will know where you're at and what your purpose is. I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you there is no final judgment, but I am smart enough to ask you if you are willing to take the chance that there is or isn't. Enjoy life and all it has to offer, but always be willing to give something good back.,,,,,,,,,Good Luck

Friend , there is always a toss up between what one wants to do and what one has to do.
At 20+ one starts with what one has to do , to make a living . In fact , for many, the battle starts at the education level. One wants to get knowledge in areas of one`s liking. But the family and the society compels you to get education that would fetch you a decent income. Still, the burning desire to do what you want to do always burns inside.
People , once armed with some experience and money, start the search to find their inner urge fulfilled. They will find it ultimately. The fact that you mention about not fitting in are all signs of people forcing themselves to do what they do not like to do.

To find out who they really are. Some, may have lived long years thinking that they are of a particular ethnic group/nation/or even race, only to receive a pleasant surprise or shock to find out that they are totally European or South African etc. They may be asked : Where are you from? Should they give , what they thought they belong to all these years, or should they give their recent discoveries. They must dig deep into their ancestry to discover who they are, it is very important to do so , for after all , it is My History, not any-one else,s HIS - story.

Me too.... only 15.
I feel so freaked out, I can't sleep at night, because I feel like I'm wasting so much time. Doing nothing on a Saturday, or even just a weeknight scares me to death. I hate movies. They take up too much time. I can't stand wasting 8 hours at school! I feel like I'm supposed to be doing something........different. Like I'm supposed to be somewhere else. Usually writing...but then again, doubt creeps in there too. Its all I think about.

We all journey through life without really knowing what we want and then losing what we should have cherished.
Try it when you are 54.
