I liked him since the early days of the Ali G show when NO ONE knew him, now everyone does :-(

YES thank you I think that too, definitely ruined... I mean, he really can't do any more now that everyone knows who he is...
and honestly, I thought a lot of his Ali G show appearances as Borat were a LOT funnier than some parts of the movie....

I know what you mean. It can be frustrating when something you love becomes hugely popular. I think a lot of people are quoting him and wearing Bortat t-shirts right now, but eventually it will die down. They'll move onto something else and it will be just us 'die-hards' again. I don't think he can use that character anymore though because he's become so well known. Bruno on the other hand, still has enough anonymity to sneak up on people :)
