Besides being a duty free shopping centre, Singapore is a tourist centre also. Things are comparatively cheaper inn Singapore as it is a duty free countryu. Please check the following link to see the places of interest to visit in Singapore.

Shopping is cheap if that's what you're looking for and know where to go. For really cheap shopping, I suggest you go the "Thief Market" at Kelantan Lane in the evening.
