Well, considering that America is such a fat country, I'd say that there are billions of seconds every year. These seconds are seconds of eggs, fries, even burgers. However poorer countries in Asia and Africa barely even get firsts so I'd say it balances out to about 3 billion a year.

If there are 60 seconds in a minute, 3600 seconds in an hour and 86400 seconds in a day, then there should be 31536000 seconds in a 365-day year, barring any leap seconds.

theres 2 ways to resolve this problem:
1)
days in year = 365
hours in a year = 365 * 24 = 8760
minutes in a year = 8760 * 60 = 525600
seconds in a year = 525600 * 60 = 31536000 sec
2)
seconds in 1 day = 60*60*24 = 86400
seconds in 365 day (1 normal year) = 86400*365=31536000 sec
seconds in 366 day (a non-normal year)= 31536000+86400=31622400

In a non-leap year there are approximately 365 days. There are 24 hours in a day, and 3600 seconds in an hour.

365*24*3600 = 31,536,000 seconds

Twelve. Jan 2nd, Feb 2nd, Mar 2nd, Apr 2nd, May 2nd, June 2nd, July 2nd, Aug 2nd, Sept 2nd, Oct 2nd, Nov 2nd, and Dec 2nd.

Assuming of course you dont include the 22nd of each month, then there would be 24.

Just one appendum to the above answers. The day IS NOT exactly 24 hours long and the year IS NOT exactly 365.25 days long and then to complicate matters, are you looking for a sidereal day / year or solar day / year, etc.

Depends on both which year and which kind of year; there are several. By one measure that I used for some calculations, the number was 31,556,925.9747 seconds.

I think it is

365.25(days) * 24(hours) * 60(minutes) * 60(seconds)

= 31557600 seconds
